“Quantifoils Revisited”

I’ve been testing conditions for treating Quantifoil grids in the pursuit of more consistent frozen grids.  Although Quantifoil has beautifully spaced holes, the photo-resist layer seems to affect ice  formation, but is resistent to removal.  I will discuss some of the treatments I’ve tried and their variable, rather inconclusive results.
