“Molecular physiology through molecular tomography”

I will go through the essential steps and why we do them for cryo electron tomography. In particular I’ll explain the necessary additional regularization procedure necessary to push the resolution into the realms of actual molecular visualization at about 2 nm resolution on indivual proteins. I’ll also touch upon the next step, i.e. to analyze the structural flexibility that can be seen when looking at individual protein structures. I will show protein structure examples for the procedural steps that define molecular tomography.
