The Structure of a COPII Coat

We have solved the structure of a COPII coat composed of the proteins Sec13/31 and Sec23/24. This structure provided novel insights into the mechanisms by which the COPII proteins interact with cargo and expand and contract to accommodate cargo of different sizes.
