Robotic Grid Screening

Robotic Grid Screening

A montage of 88 grid atlases automatically acquired using the robotic grid loading system integrated with the Leginon II data acquisition system. The grids are loaded from a specially designed tray into the specimen holder and the holder is inserted into the microscope. An atlas of the entire viewable grid area is then constructed from a montage of images obtained at a magnification of 75x. The grid is then removed and a new grid inserted.
