P22 Virions Magnified at 200K

Ordered DNA and the tail mechanism of the P22 virus are clearly visible at high magnification (image taken at 1 micron defocus). Close to 1000 of these high-mag micrographs were collected in just 24 hours using a combination of Leginon’s automated hole-finding and queuing capabilites.
