This forum will be a presentation of the work from the Carazo group on local resolution and directional local resolution in Cryo EM, mostly focused on Single Particle Analysis but also of relevance to CryoEM Tomography. In particular, the new view of local resolution as a tensor, rather than a single number, open a plethora of new applications.  The talk will  focus on those issues to map quality and validation
