“Tools for the Chemical Manipulation of Virus Particles”

Various ways of making well-defined covalent attachments to cowpea mosaic virus and other viruses will be described.  The resulting structures range from single particles decorated with small molecules to virus particle assemblies of controllable architecture.  Plaintive appeals for cryo-EM assistance will also be issued.
