“Automated specimen handling (part 1): loading a specimen grid into the dry”

The automation of specimen handling allows for fully automated EM experimentation, high throughput specimen grid screening, and a eduction in the skill level necessary for operation of the microscope. Using robotics it is possible to automate the task of loading a specimen grid into a dry specimen holder.
