“Studies of Myosin V Walking”

Myosin V is a single molecule cargo carrier that takes linear processive  strides along actin filaments. Electron microscopy and image processing have provided insights into the walking mechanism, including the first view of the pre-power stroke conformation of any myosin type attached to actin.
