“Single Particle Electron Microscopy: An Introduction”

Transmission electron microscope images of single molecules can be used to generate three dimensional structures.  I will discuss the techniques used to classify images of single particles into homogenous groups, arrive at initial 3D structures, and refine structures to high resolution.
