2 Billion Records in NRAMM’s Database
The overall mission of NRAMM is to develop, test and apply technology aimed towards completely automating the processes involved in solving macromolecular structures using cryo-electron microscopy (cryoEM). This mission is supported by two inter-related SQL databases that keep track of all acquired and processed data related to structural analysis of over XXX projects. The diagram shows the MySQL schema representing the table relations between the acquisition (Leginon) and processing (Appion) databases. Some statistics of the two databases:
Database | #records | Tables | Size |
---|---|---|---|
dbemdata (Leginon | 232,742,467 | 203 | 2.1GB |
dbappiondata (Appion) | 1,954,588,452 | 58 | 23.7GB |
Total : | 2,187,330,919 | 261 | 25.9GB |
