“New Nanoparticle Visualization and Sizing Technique”

Duncan Griffiths – Business Development Manager, NanoSight USA West

Tracking Analysis (NTA) is a new technique for visualizing and sizing nanoparticles in suspension. Direct observation of particles moving under Brownian motion is made possible by a novel illumination method, allowing a particle-by-particle analysis of size and concentration.

The NTA technique combines the speed and statistical validity of traditional light scattering techniques with the resolution and sensitivity of microscopy techniques. This presentation will review the theoretical basis for this new technique, giving examples of numerous applications and example data, and comparisons to other techniques.
