“Random Conical Tilting”

The basic principles of the random conical tilting technique for the reconstruction of single particles in electron microscopy will be introduced and the experimental procedure will be discussed including pitfalls and problems.

In addition the essential first steps in the analysis of tilt pairs will be presented. The presentation will be a “chalk talk” in parts, and discussions are highly encouraged.
